Update: The fudge…

So I made the fudge, and darned if I didn’t forget to take a picture…  Anyway, it took approximalely 4.5 phone calls to my Grandmother in PA.  I overcooked it a bit, but all it and all it turned out really well.  The flavor was correct, just a little hard.  J enjoyed it, he ate almost all of it.  And even tried to share with his dad.  

The real recipe:

  • 1/4 CUP BUTTER
  • 1/3 CUP TO 1/2 CUP MILK MILK
  • COOK TILL SOFT BALL IN COLD WATER – like a mushy caramel..  About 8 minutes or so.  Just keep dropping a little into COLD water..
  • ADD PEANUT BUTTER – about 3/4 cup
  • Add Vanilla – 1 tsp.
  • Beat till cool
  • Poor on plate

There, now don’t those make a lot more sense??
